RELM is a landscape architecture and urban design practice wherein 30 years of practice has been honed into a studio dedicated to urbanism, connectivity, and design.  Our ethos is simple--capture the wonder in between.  In sequence, our landscapes engender a more urban LA and beyond, be it along the street, or within a plaza, urban park or campus.  Our projects cultivate community, resolve incongruent uses and access, and drive public life.

RELM is keenly interested in smart, creative landscape architects and urban designers  – individuals who have a passion for design and desire to join a collaborative studio dedicated fostering a vibrant public realm.

Open Positions

RELM is landscape architecture and urban design practice dedicated to cultivating urban life. Based in
downtown Los Angeles, we champion landscapes that connect home, work, transit, and recreation through
open space, be it along a street, plaza, campus, or park. Our success realizing urban life in a polycentric city
is gaining us entrée into distinguished commissions statewide: the New Natural Resources Headquarters
building in Sacramento, Ivy Station in Culver City, and Park and Market, UC San Diego’s new downtown

RELM is seeking passionate and highly talented summer interns, who are creative, organized and possess strong graphic and verbal communication skills to join our studio in downtown Los Angeles from June 4, 2018 through August 10, 2018. Dates are flexible to accommodate academic calendars. Longer residency into the fall is possible.
