E. ALLAN SPULECKI JOINS MELÉNDREZ

Meléndrez is pleased to welcome its newest Associate Principal, E. Allan Spulecki, a landscape architect to direct and oversee design across the firm.
Allan brings 21 years of hands-on experience directing all phases of complex landscape, urban design and planning projects that span varied typology, scale, and program. As both a licensed architect and landscape architect, Allan successfully integrates architecture and infrastructure with our natural, ecological, and living systems that stand the test of time. Impassioned by the creation of well-crafted landscapes that foster community and engagement, and improve the quality-of-life, Allan has lead cross-discipline, team collaborations that skillfully resolve complex design programs and site constraints.
Prior to joining Meléndrez, Allan served as the Director of the landscape studio at 3north (Richmond, VA) and previously spent nineteen years at OLIN (Philadelphia, PA). While at OLIN, Allan managed and designed numerous award-winning landscape projects, including Columbus Circle in New York City; the Fran & Ray Stark Sculpture Garden at the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles; Mill River Park and Greenway in Stamford, Conn.; and the Washington Monument Grounds in Washington, District of Columbia. Allan holds Masters in both Landscape Architecture and Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Architecture from The Catholic University of America.
